Disabled Toilet Keys

Disabled toilet keys, often called RADAR keys, open accessible toilets fitted with the National Key Scheme lock found across the UK in public buildings, shopping centres, stations, pubs and parks. The scheme gives disabled people and those with health conditions independent access to locked accessible facilities. These keys are intended for people who need to use accessible toilets, and for venue staff managing those facilities. Please buy and use them only for that legitimate purpose. A genuine National Key Scheme key usually has a distinctive large bow for easier grip, and the lock is standardised, so there is no individual code to check. If you manage a building and need keys for a specific accessible toilet lock that is not part of the scheme, check the lock face for a code or ask your locksmith.
