Standard house cylinder keys can often be copied from the key itself, and some locks carry a code on the key bow or on the security card supplied with the lock.Check the brand marking on the key head and the shape of the blade before ordering. If you have a working key, you can order a copy by photographing it through our key scan service, which suits standard house cylinder and compatible mortice keys. Anti-snap and high-security cylinders with restricted profiles need manual review, and proof of ownership may be required.If you have lost every key, have moved into a new home, or the lock is worn or damaged, a locksmith changing the cylinder is usually the better option than cutting more keys.
